No Permission to Sanjay Dutt by Supreme Court to Contest Elections
Supreme Court denied Sanjay Dutt permission to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. This definitely is a welcome change. Many viewers agree that contestants with a criminal background should not fight elections. His popularity is of a good actor and many feel that he would not be a good leader; mainly because of his criminal background.
This is a good start for India to have leaders with only clean history. Criminals would not have the courage to ask for ticket to contest elections in future after hearing this order. People with power will have to think twice before doing anything they want, whenever they want, and the way they want.

Should have done long back as so many politicians have chargesheet against them, like Advani, Siddhu, Mayawati, Jayalalitha, Laloo.
I wonder how Phulan Devi could contest at all??? And become and MP at that!
whole of Bihari politics is full of criminals and chargesheeters! But the court has to pick the most famous of them all to make an example??? Sanjay Dutt? After all saying against the above mentioned people would create a ruckus and uproar amongst the hooligan followers of those. Poor Dutt has fan following amongst more decent people. Lets see if the Court can live up to the example it has set! Personall I dont think so…This is just a farce
