Combined Administrative Services Examination (CASE) - 2009
CSIR will hold and All India Competitive Examination for recruitment to the following posts :
1. Secction Officer : 43 posts (UR-23, SC-6, ST-3, OBC-11), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4800
2. Executive Assistant : 90 posts (UR-47, SC-13, ST-6, OBC-24), Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200,
Qualification (for both posts) : Bachelor degree of a recognised university in any discipline and one year Diploma in Computer.
Age : 28 years as on 15/07/2009.
Fee : Rs.700/- (No fee for SC/ST/PH/Ex-SM) in the form of DD of SBI in favour of Joint Secretary (Administration), CSIR, New Delhi payable at New Delhi.
Selectio by all India online examination.
How to Apply : Application in the prescribed format may be sent by Registered Post/ Speed Post to The Joint Secretary (Administration), Anusandhan Bhavan, 2, Rafi Marg, New Delhi - 110001 on or before 15/07/2009 (for candidates of far-flung areas, the lst date is 22/07/2009). Applications can also be submitted online.

despite repeated attempts, unable to find out form to apply for the post of Section Officer and Executive Assistant in CSIR

The result for CSIR CASE 2009 preliminary exams will be declared in the
first week of October. Exact date of declaration of result will be put on
CSIR website by 30th September; selected candidates will be informed
through E-Mail.

my name is anjani kumar sinha .also i was sit on the online exam of case2009 preliminiary exam. i want to know that which date of publish of case 2009 prel.exam result of the post of executive assisstant and want to know that which date of main exam.
Dear all
some of the applicants from north india went to court to stop the result of CASE 2009. Exact matter not known
CSIR CASE Help Desk has informed in this page (see comment by mr.lokesh on 18th September) that the result of the prelim will be put up in their website by first week of october. They did not mention the year (?????!!!!!). So we have to wait indefinitely till the first week of october (which year? only CSIR knows !)
This is a news i had from reliable sources (not confirmed).
CSIR is going to re-conduct the prelim exam in a conventional methon (not online). Therefore wait and watch !

well as u know CSIR CASE 2009 has been SCRAPPED!!
I m feelin like an idiot waited for the result for last 7 months just 2 hear that some disgusted public servants have failed to make the results of an online exam..my qn is if they failed this time, who would give me guarantee that they wont repeat it next time..??
India is just lagging bcoz of such worthless officials.who will return my time and effort which i had spent on preparing CASE 2009.
I want to take some action against such reckless administration..Iwould like to have ur views on it..Combine as much people as u can..make this a mass movement then only truth shall win..email ur views to me at anmoljeet@hotmail.com
i heard that c.s.i.r is going to re conduct the exam for the post of section officer on 30th may 2010. i was sit on the online exam of 2009. but i did not get any information from c.s.i.r. pls tell me how can i get my admit card for the same.
